As you all know by now that Apple finally dropped its latest update, Apple iOS 11.4 this Wednesday, and with it, brought a lot of cool features, which many were waiting for. The most talked-about feature which we get in this new update is the AirPlay 2 which Apple announced last year at World Wide Developer’s Conference.

HomePod Stereo Pairs:
Now, this one is an extremely sweet deal for the Apple customers who also happens to have a HomePod speaker in their possession. This feature basically allows you to pair up two HomePod speakers at once and get that enhanced immersive sound quality, the likes of which you generally expect from a stereo speaker.
“With two HomePod speakers set up as a stereo pair, this soundstage gets even wider, delivering room-filling sound that is more spacious than a traditional stereo pair from a speaker that’s just under 7-inches tall. Using spatial awareness to sense their location in the room, each HomePod automatically adjusts the audio to sound great wherever it is placed and sound great together, using an Apple-designed wireless peer-to-peer direct link to communicate with each other and play music completely in sync,” the Apple spokesperson said.
Messages in iCloud:
This feature provides you an opportunity to save your private stuff like media attachments and messages in your iCloud. This is a life-saving feature for those who feel to save that extra little space in his/her device.
Signing with the same account on other devices automatically erases the information in the previous device.
AirPlay 2:
This is the most awaited feature since Apple’s announcement. The Multi-Room audio feature which allows you to control the audio system in your house from your device. You can choose any song on your device, and stream with many devices in your home at the same time. AirPlay 2 is automatically supported by HomePod so, no manual instruction is needed for streaming.
“While listening to music, it’s as easy as selecting or unselecting where the music is playing in Control Centre, or users can ask Siri to play music in any room, a group of rooms, or everywhere in the home,” said the Apple Spokesperson.
Also, the update resolves the bug which caused the device to crash when someone sent a message containing a certain sequence of characters, and also, it resolved the issue of some users when they were restricted to access their files stored in Google Google Drive.
How to download or update your device to iOS 11.4?
To upgrade to Apple iOS 11.4 version, just navigate to the Software Upgrade section inside the Settings menu, and download the update. However, we advise you to create a backup of your important details in case anything goes wrong.
