If your life was getting dry because of the summers then it’s time to breathe some life into you with the new TV anime, which is based on Jasmine Gyuh’s comedy manga. Back Street Girls comedy manga is finally getting a TV anime. On Monday, the staff for the anime revealed the main cast and the premiere date for the anime. The anime will be premiering on 3rd July. The three main cast members will have different cast members for their male yakuza and female idol identities.

 The songs for the anime will be performed by Nukui, Maeda and Akao. The anime will air on BS11 on 3rd July.



Back Street Girls Staff

The series is going to be directed by Chiaki Kon (who has previously worked on Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal: Season III, When They Cry – Higurashi, Junjō Romantica). Susumu Yamakawa (Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Dai-Ni-Maku) is writing the script for the anime. The sound director is Jin Aketagawa (Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond, A Place Further Than the Universe) and Magic Capsule will be taking care of the sound production.

Back Street Girls Synopsis

The manga centers on three yakuza men. The three men are forced by their boss to become an idol group. Their boss is also a producer so he has been forcing them. The difficulties that they face in hiding their true selves from their fans bring out laughter from the fans.
The manga launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine in March 2015. Kodansha published the manga’s 10th compiled volume on March 6. The manga has more than 450,000 copies in print.
Overall it seems that it might turn out to be a good anime. So, keep your eyes peeled on more news about the anime.
