North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's health became a topic of speculation. This happened after reports of the North Korean dictator seeking the advice of a team of Chinese medical experts surfaced. These speculations of the leader's health intensified over the weekend and began to do the rounds of the internet. It didn't take long for death rumours to follow. Currently, people are wondering if Kim Jong-un is dead, along with a slew of related questions.

    To put a rest to the death rumours of dictator Kim Jong-un, South Korean President Moon Jae-in's security adviser, Moon Chung-in said that "Kim Jong-un is alive and well" in a CNN interview. This is an official statement that includes details of Kim staying in his resort town, Wonsan where “no suspicious movements” have been discovered so far.



    Although news of Kim's ill-health are largely unverified, the subject has formed a major chunk of the discussion on the internet. Questions about what will happen in case of Kim Jong-un's demise are being asked with many suggesting his sister Kim Yo-jong might takeover in his stead.
