The Sensational Spanish show 'Money Heist' has become very popular in India, with many actors, including Ayushmann Khurrana and Kartik Aaryan, expressing their desire to be part of the show. Now in an interview with BehindWoods, director Alex Rodrigo picked up the cast for Indian version of the show.
While he believed that Vijay could pull of Professor and Ajith could play Bogota, Alex also felt that Shah Rukh Khan would be perfect as Berlin while Ranveer Singh would make great Denver. He also happened to mention Mahesh Babu as Tamayo and Suriya as Suarez.
During a recent interview for a YouTube channel, BehindWoods, the host held up pictures of six Indian actors—Vijay, Mahesh Babu, SRK, Ajith Kumar, Suriya and Ranveer Singh—and asked him to choose the character from Money Heist that they would be apt for. Of course, this would all be based on their appearances since Rodrigo has not seen them perform.
Further down the lineup, Rodrigo said that while Ajith Kumar would do perfectly as Bogotà and Suriya would make a good Suarez, the tactical unit chief of the Spanish National Police. As for Ranveer Singh, the final candidate in the list, he was declared as the perfect Denver.
