After a long wait, Pokemon Let’s Go, which is known by fans as Pokemon Switch will finally come on Nintendo Switch. It is loaded with a lot of features that are only available in our dreams before. And not only that, Pokemon Let’s Go will also let you enjoy Pokemon GO! in another way.
Pokemon Let’s Go is the newest Pokemon game and is the first ever Pokemon RPG game on Switch. The game will take place on the first region, which is the Kanto. Because of this, it is also expected that the Pokemon that will be available in this game would be the first generation Pokemon. Like most of the Pokemon RPGs, Pokemon Let’s Go will have two versions: the Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee. According to their translated site, the Pokemon types and appearance might also differ. It is not yet confirmed but Alolan forms could be a thing in this game.

Quick Mobile Fix

You can play this game with only one Joy-Con for making the navigation and game choices. The game world will also be on 3D, which has been improved since the last Pokemon Sun and Moon on 3DS. The spare Joy-Con can be used by the other player to enjoy the exploration of the map. By swinging the JoyCon, you can throw a Pokeball to catch a Pokemon. A Pokeball controller, which also acts as a JoyCon, is also available.

There are also the classic NPC trainers like the bug catchers and a two-player Pokemon battle is also allowed. Pokemon are not just found on the grass or will appear randomly in the dungeons. There will be wandering Pokemon scattered on the map and will initiate Pokemon battle when approached. The trailer also shows that Pokemon can also initiate Pokemon battles themselves and the player avatar needs to run away if a battle is not desired.

But the icing on the cake is the feature where you can get your Pokemon Go! games inside Pokemon Let’s Go. The Pokemon will then be sent to the Go Park where it can interact with your Let’s Go! Avatar. Your Pokemon in Let’s Go can also be transferred to Pokemon Go via sending it as a gift. However, I think there are certain restrictions because it will destroy the core gameplay of Pokemon GO. Mewtwo is also previewed in the trailer.
Pokemon Let’s Go will be released on November 16, 2018, and will cost you 5,980 Yen or $55.
